Sharjah: A 32-year-old Emirati man was killed early Sunday in a single-vehicle accident on Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Road in Sharjah in the area near Umm Fannen tunnel towards Al Howma Bridge.
Police said he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a lamppost. He was killed on impact and was pronounced dead at the scene,
Police and paramedics moved immediately to the scene of the incident and the body was moved to Al Qasimi Hospital and then handed over to his family. Wasit Police have launched an investigation.
