Sharjah: A 4-year-old African girl died after falling from a residential building in Sharjah on Thursday afternoon.
The girl fell from the third floor of the building, police said.
According to the police, the incident happened at a building located in Al Tawuain area around 3pm Thursday.
The girl from Ghana climbed onto a chair placed in the balcony, according to her aunt who was at the house with the girl when the incident happened. The girl climbed on the chair to watch children coming from school when she slipped and fell, the aunt said.
The body was moved to Al Kuwaiti hospital and will be later moved to the forensic laboratory.
The police are investigating and have questioned the family members.
