Sharjah: A fire broke out at a warehouse of auto spare parts in Sharjah’s industrial area on Sunday, said Colonel Sami Khamis Al Naqabi, Director-General of the emirate’s Civil Defence.
There were no reports of casualties, although the fire destroyed the warehouse.
Col. Al Naqabi said the fire broke out at 1.31pm in Industrial Area 4.
Firefighters from the Sharjah headquarters, Mina, Samnan and Muweilah stations were involved in controlling the fire.
"We immediately took the necessary precautions to prevent the fire from spreading to the adjacent premises,” he said.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
