Fire breaks out in Ajman printing house

Ajman: A fire broke out at a printing house in Al Jurf industrial area in Ajman on Tuesday afternoon.

The fire was described as medium and there were no reports injuries.

The fire erupted at 12.12pm and firefighters from Ajman were able to control the blaze by 12.47pm, said Brigadier Mohammad Jumeirah, director of the Ajman Civil Defence stations.

“We immediately took the necessary measures to prevent the fire from spreading.” Workers were evacuated from the premises immediately.

The printing house was handed over to forensic experts to investigate the cause of the fire.
