Dubai: A driver was seriously injured when the truck he was driving crashed into the back of another truck, which was halted due to a traffic jam, Dubai Police said on Tuesday.
Brigadier Saif Muhair Al Mazroui, director of traffic department in Dubai Police, said the accident happened on Emirates road in the morning.
“The truck driver didn’t notice the vehicle in front of him was moving slowly because of a traffic jam on the way to Sharjah. One driver was seriously injured and transferred to hospital to recover,” Brig Al Mazroui told Gulf News.
