Sharjah: A 39-year-old worker fell to his death from an under-construction building in Sharjah’s Al Khan area at around 5pm on Monday, Sharjah Police said.
The Indian man reportedly slipped while working on the fifth floor.
Workers at the site reported the incident to the police operations room.
A team from the Criminal and Investigation Department was dispatched to the building, The man was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident and his body was moved to the forensic laboratory.
Al Buhairah Police is investigating the case.
Officials from the construction company are being interrogated. Co-workers who witnessed the accident are also being questioned.
