Dewa distributes iftar meals

Utility handing out food packets to 2,300 people every day

Dubai: As part of the Year of Giving initiative, Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (Dewa) is providing daily iftar meals to 2,300 people across the emirate.

Dewa has also set up a Ramadan Tent at its head office to serve 500 iftar meals to staff on duty during Maghrib prayers besides visitors of all nationalities.

Saeed Mohammad Al Tayer, Managing Director and CEO of Dewa, said, “The authority is organising a number of Islamic, social, cultural, and charitable activities to consolidate the spirit of brotherhood, selflessness, and cohesion.”
