Group calls for release of arrested Syrian Kurds
Syria's National Organization for Human Rights (Nohr) is demanding the release of three Syrian Kurds they said were arrested by military intelligence.
Damascus: Syria's National Organization for Human Rights (Nohr) is demanding the release of three Syrian Kurds they said were arrested by military intelligence.
According to Nohr, Kurdish poet Horan Shaikh Moussa was summoned to the security department in northern Syria Thursday and hasn't returned since.
The group also said Mohammad Said Abdi, the director of the Narin Kurdish folklore band, was arrested northeast of Damascus in late August.
Finally, Mounir Al Barhamji, was arrested in August 29 at his house in a Damascus suburbs.
The group described the arrests as "arbitrary."
