He lauded the directives of the UAE President to support the Somali people in their current crisis.
The Somali President reiterated that the UAE's humanitarian initiative has bolstered the efforts of his country to curb the repercussions of the disaster.
Sheriff was speaking to the UAE delegation chaired by Ahmad Humaid Al Mazroui, Board Chairman of the UAE Red Crescent Authority (RCA), in his office in Mogadishu Sunday.
The delegation briefed the Somali President about the UAE plans to rehabilitate the sectors of health, education, energy services, water, as well as relief operations being shouldered by the RCA in Somalia.
