Somali pirates have released a Greek ship they hijacked more than two months ago, a maritime official said on Friday.
Nairobi: Somali pirates have released a Greek ship they hijacked more than two months ago, a maritime official said on Friday.
Andrew Mwangura of the East African Seafarer's Assistance Programme said MV Centauri is now on its way to the Mombasa port.
The ship had a crew of 26 Filipinos and was due to discharge 17,000 tonnes of bulk salt at the Kenya port when it was hijacked in mid September.
