Dubai: In the name of peace, Israeli soldiers raided the home of Bilal Tamim a Palestinian activist, around midnight Monday.

In what Palestinians recognize as a common practice, the soldiers were looking for “forbidden” objects, but this time the raid however stood out because it was documented and uploaded on YouTube for the world to see.

When the activist asked the soldiers to explain the reason behind the raid, the soldier said: “Of course. Because we want peace, and you are always throwing stones on our roads.”  He then and adds that they just came “for a  visit.”

Then proceeded to search the house for “forbidden” objects. When the activist asked them to define the term “forbidden” the soldier said “like knives”.

As the soldiers searched the house from top to bottom they asked the activist if he carried a weapon, Bilal Tamim pointed at the video camera he was using to document the raid, and said “this is my weapon”.

Next the soldier in charge of the raid interrogated the children and searched their school bags.
