Suicide among Palestinians on the rise
Suicide among Palestinians in the occupied territories is on the rise, said psychiatrists, sociologists and policemen.
Occupied Jerusalem: Suicide among Palestinians in the occupied territories is on the rise, said psychiatrists, sociologists and policemen.
“Security organisations in Hebron recorded 21 suicide attempts since the beginning of this year; 13 of them were females and eight among them were newly-weds in their 20s,'' said Abd Al Ra'ouf Masha'al, head of interrogations, Hebron Police.
Experts attribute the rise in suicides to economic and social crises, urging for a campaign to raise awareness.
