Manila: Dozens of Filipino Muslims gathered at the Blue Mosque in Manila's suburban Taguig city on Friday to condemn Israel's bombardment in Gaza.
The protesters carried placards accusing Israel of "war crimes" and urged the United Nations to sanction Israel for the bombings.
Israel has said the bombardment is in retaliation for rocket attacks by Hamas militants.
The attacks on Gaza sparked anger among Muslims around the world, and more protests were held on Friday.
In Indonesia, Muslims protested at the main roundabout in Jakarta, while in India, Kashmiri Muslims held a silent protest against the Israeli attack on Gaza, in Srinagar.
