Occupied Jerusalem: The clashes between Israeli forces and Palestinians in Occupied Jerusalem on Tuesday have spread to many parts of the city, reported the Palestine News and Information Agency (WAFA).
According to sources working in hospitals in Occupied Jerusalem, the total number of Palestinians injured in the clashes has exceeded 60, over half of which were in the city of Al Eisawiya.

In addition, more than 20 young protestors have been arrested by the Israeli police.
A fierce fighting between the two sides has now spread to Jebel Al Zaitoun, which overlooks over the old parts of Occupied Jerusalem, according to the news agency. Israeli forces are using rubber bullets, tear gas grenades, and bombs. They have also closed off all crossings and main entrances to the city.
The Palestinian Red Crescent stated that many of the protestors’ injuries resulted from the rubber bullets used by the Israeli forces. Medics were also not allowed to attend to the injured.
Three foreign photographers have sustained various injuries as a result of tear gas fired by the police, according to Wafa.
Clashes have also erupted in Hebron and Nablus, according to eyewitness reports on Twitter. Eyewitnesses have also reported that the Israeli forces have banned Al Jazeera cameramen from taking any footage which was being aired live on the television channel.
Wafa reports that Israeli police had earlier in the day attacked worshipers and eyewitnesses have seen Israeli police officers entering a house in the old Occupied Jerusalem, and attacking all members of the household.
Tensions have mounted in the occupied city over the past few days. The clashes are fueled in part by the opening of a synagogue adjacent to the walls surrounding Al Aqsa compound and the announcement by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of the building of 1,600 new colonies.
