Palestinian killed in Gaza air strike

Gaza: A Palestinian fighter was killed in an Israeli attack on a Hamas mortar crew in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday, hospital officials said.

The air strike took place near Khan Younis refugee camp, a day after a Palestinian rocket killed an elderly Israeli woman.

Israeli officials have threatened to step up military attacks in the Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip to stop rocket fire into Israel.
