Gaza: A Palestinian fighter was killed and another was wounded when an Israeli airstrike barraged the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip on Tuesday, medical workers said.
The strike targeted a rocket launching crew in Gaza that was attacking the southern Israeli town of Sderot, a Israeli spokeswoman said.
Egypt is in the process of mediating talks between Hamas and Israel to seal a peace deal.
This is the latest carried out by Israel in what it says is an attempt to control Hamas rocket fire.
