Davos: US Secretary of State John Kerry emphasised the importance of the GCC states in achieving any final settlement between Palestine and Israel under the Arab Peace Initiative terms.
During an overview of US foreign policy priorities at the World Economic Forum here, Kerry reminded the meeting of the benefits of peace.
He quoted Foreign Minister Shaikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan saying recently that if Israel made peace with the Palestinians, it would enjoy more relations with the GCC than it does at present with Europe.
