Ramallah: Jewish colonists have attacked 96 Holy Muslim and Christian sacred sites in the West Bank and 46 sacred sites in Occupied East Jerusalem since the beginning of the year.
According to the Palestinian Ministry of Islamic Affairs, the colonists have left behind racist and threatening messages after vandalising Palestinian property.
'Price tag'
"Price tag" is most commonly spray painted on property in reference to the Palestinian statehood bid at the United Nations in September. Also derrogatory and insulting words are written against Islam and their Holy Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
"Jewish rabbis have issued their own religious decrees sanctifying the murder of Palestinians and Arabs," Yousuf Doais, head of the Palestinian Supreme Judicial Council said.
Five Palestinian cars set ablaze
Meanwhile, on Monday five Palestinian cars were set ablaze by a large number of Jewish colonists who raided the village of Bateen, near Ramallah.
As there has been no protection by the Israeli army who is seen as complicit in the illegal acts, villagers have decided to form night watch committees to protect their private properties from intruders.
