Ramallah: The Israeli Army and the colonists are conducting unprecendented ethnic cleansing and are forcing the Palestinian in the Jordan Valley out of their towns and villages to empty these strategic areas and set up new Israeli colonies, the National Bureau of Defence from the Ground and Resist the Settlements announced on Sunday.
The bureau said in an official statement that the Israelis are accelerating the pressure on the Palestinians in the Jordan Valley areas to force them out and control this strategic area which the Israelis want to control.
The bureau said that the Israelis have come up with a well designed plan to force the Palestinians and replace them with colonists.
The report said that the colonists under full protection from the Israeli army have been conducting an unprecedented campaign against the Palestinians, mainly against the Palestinians living in the Jordan Valley areas, taking advantage of the recent revolutions and unrest in the region.
The report added that the Israeli forces have already delivered several demolition orders in these areas, warning that the execution of these orders would take place any moment.
A senior official at the Palestinian State Ministry for the Wall and Settlement Affairs told Gulf News that the Palestinian Authority knows for sure that the Jordan Valley areas area of fundamental importance to the Israelis who announced publicly that they will not leave them.
The official stressed however that the Palestinian Authority is determined to have full control of the Jordan Valley areas as a part of the lands occupied in 1967.
