Israeli captive's father told Hezbollah deal seen
The father of an Israeli soldier abducted by Hezbollah in 2006 said on Monday he had been told that a prisoner swap is close.
Occupied Jerusalem: The father of an Israeli soldier abducted by Lebanon's Hezbollah in 2006 said on Monday he had been told that a prisoner swap is close.
Germany is mediating a prisoner swap for Eldad Regev and another Israeli soldier.
"We had a meeting with (ambassador) Ofer Dekel and he…told us in general terms that there is about to be a deal," Zvi Regev, Eldad's father, told Israel Radio.
He said the meeting with Dekel was two weeks ago.
