Gaza: Israel on Wednesday halted all fuel deliveries to the Gaza Strip after a mortar attack by Palestinian militants hit a fuel base in the region.
An Israeli District Coordination Office spokesman said: "Fuel deliveries were frozen after the mortar hit".
A Palestinian worker was injured in the mortar attack.
The spokesman said they were investigating the situation but could not say when the deliveries will begin again.
However, deliveries to Gaza's power station were not affected by the freeze as none were schedule for the day, a European Union official said.
