Israel's Livni declines to give timeframe to Gaza operation
Israeli Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni said in an interview published on Saturday that Israel is "not looking to reoccupy the Gaza Strip" and declined to give a timeframe for military operations in the territory.

Livni declined to give a timeframe for the Israeli military operation in the territory but said Israel needed "to see that we achieved our goals."
She told The Washington Post that in the end, Israel has to be sure that it "will not face the rearmament of Hamas".
"But at the end of the day, it is an ongoing war against terror," she said.
"We don't ask the international community to fight with us. We ask the international community to give us some understanding and time," she said.
