Nablus: Israel has eased travel restrictions in the West Bank city of Nablus as Muslims celebrated the Eid Al Adha holiday.
The latest move prompted a rush of travellers crossing the Hawara checkpoint in the West Bank.
Palestinians have said the travel restrictions have made life unbearable and stifled their economy.
The Israeli army said traffic restrictions would be eased at two more Nablus checkpoints in the coming days, and new pedestrian lanes are planned at Hawara.
