Intelligence agencies in Israel warn of significant threats

Occupied Jerusalem: Intelligence agencies in Israel have warned in an annual report on Sunday that the Jewish state faces a series of threats from different sources.
Rocket fire from Hamas fighters in Gaza is currently the most active threat facing Israel, while Iran's nuclear programme remains the most significant threat, a senior official explained to a cabinet meeting.
Quoting from the annual report, the official added that “Iran's pivotal role as a leader of the radical axis in the Arab and Muslim world,'' as well as its increasing co-operation with Syria, Lebanon's Hezbollah and Palestinian fighter groups makes it the Jewish states most major foe.
