Occupied Jerusalem: Israel on Tuesday closed its border crossings with the Gaza Strip after Palestinian rocket attacks on Israel, the Defence Ministry said.
An Israeli police spokesman said a rocket fired by Palestinian fighters landed inside the Gaza Strip.
On Monday, Israel allowed limited humanitarian aid to enter through the Gaza Strip and also allowed fuel to be shipped to the territory's main power plant.
Israel clamped down on aid shipments to the Gaza Strip starting November 4, when a deadly army raid into the territory triggered a surge in rocket attacks.
