Ramallah: Fatah urged the US Administration to publicly name the party responsible for the failure of the peace process in the region.

Usamah Al Qawasmi, a spokesman of Fatah, said in an official statement that the US Administration is obliged to meet its commitments in which the US President Barack Obama vowed to name the party which failed the peace process.

He added that doing so was one of the main aspects of the speech of Obama in the UN where he also announced that the state of Palestine will be new member of the UN in the next year, urging Israel to halt its colony activities in the occupies Palestinian Territories.

Al Qawasmi said that the US Administration should implement the articles highlighted by Obama in his speech. He added that Israel is challenging the will of the international community, and does not pay any attention to the international resolutions, and ignores giving the peace process a real chance.

Fatah held the Israeli Government responsible for the failed US attempts aimed at resuming the stalled negotiations as Israel is determined to violate the international laws, insists on going on with its colony activities in the West Bank and occupied east Jerusalem, and seizing more lands and demolishing houses.

Fatah warned against the policies of the Israeli Government, which block the possibility of reaching a peace agreement and achieve lasting and comprehensive peace, adding that these Israeli policies push the entire region to a new wave of violence and wars.

Al Qawasmi said that Fatah believes in fair peace that is based on the international resolutions, but strongly rejects the policies Israel has been imposing. He warned that security will not be achieved by any party should Israel goes on with those policies.
