Dozens of Hamas activists detained in Nablus
Dozens of Hamas activists including university lecturers have been arrested in the occupied West Bank on Monday by security forces that support Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas' Fatah faction, Hamas sources said.

The conflict between the factions rose after a bombing in the Gaza Strip on Friday left five Hamas members and a girl dead. The two sides stepped up raids and arrests against each other in response.
More than 50 Hamas activists were detained overnight and early on Monday in the West Bank city of Nablus, including lecturers and students at Al Najah University and local city council members, the Hamas sources said.
At least 20 Hamas activists were detained in the city of Jenin and another 15 in Tulkarm on Sunday.
Since the bombing nearly 200 Fatah officials and activists in the Gaza Strip have been arrested by Hamas.
On Monday, Hamas restricted distribution of three major Palestinian newspapers it considers the newspapers close to Fatah.
