Security and rescue officials say two Israeli police officers have been killed in an apparent shooting incident in the West Bank.
Jerusalem: Security and rescue officials say two Israeli police officers have been killed in an apparent shooting incident in the West Bank.
Security officials say the two police officers were in a car that came under fire by Palestinians. They spoke on condition of anonymity Sunday because the report was preliminary.
Israel's rescue service said it found the police vehicle upside down with one officer dead. The rescue service said efforts to revive the other failed.
The incident took place near the settlement of Massua in the northern part of the Jordan Valley, part of the West Bank.
