Morocco sets early legislative elections Nov. 25
The North African kingdom has seen frequent protests over the past months with demonstrators calling for new parliamentary elections and constitutional reforms
Rabat, Morocco: Morocco's interior minister says early legislative elections have been scheduled for Nov. 25.
The country's official MAP news agency on Tuesday reported Taieb Cherkaoui has announced the date. The elections had been expected in late 2012 but were pushed forward as part of democratic reforms spearheaded by King Mohammed VI.
