Lebanese, Israelis arrested for smuggling heroin
Israeli forces have arrested three Israelis and a Lebanese citizen for trying to smuggle 55 kilograms of heroin into Israel from south Lebanon.
Beirut: Israeli forces have arrested three Israelis and a Lebanese citizen for trying to smuggle 55 kilograms of heroin into Israel from south Lebanon.
UN Interim Force in Lebanon spokesperson Yasmina Bouziane confirmed the arrest, Lebanese newspapers reported on Tuesday.
Bouziane said the Lebanese citizen, whose identity was not disclosed, had crossed border and was arrested in Israeli territory.
Israelis forces also found a large amount of money in the area, she said, without giving further details.
