Several helplines have been set up for those trapped in Lebanon or concerned about friends or relatives in the country.
AID:
In line with the directives of His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, the Emirates Lebanese Friendship Association is conducting a fund raising campaign to help the Lebanese people.

Embassy of Lebanon in Abu Dhabi and the Lebanese consulate in Dubai has appealed to Lebanese people to send to cash donations to: The Banque du Liban Account number: 01700 362123 (only for Lebanese liras),
and 02700 362123 (US dollars).
These accounts have been opened by the Lebanese Ministry of Finance.
Other accounts are: Federal Reserve Bank of New York-New York Bic code FRNYUS33 routing number 021084694. The amounts will be in favour of Banque du Liban account number 021084694. Donations must be sent in US dollars.
Eutsche Bank – Frankfurt Bic code DEUTDEFF. The amounts will be in favour of Banque du Liban account number 100954682110. Donations must be sent in Euros.
SMS fundraising: The National Bonds Company (NBC) will start an SMS fundraising campaign today titled Call for Help to provide aid to victims of the war in Lebanon.
UAE residents will be able to contribute to the campaign via their mobile phones by sending a text message to 4242 with the word Lebanon in the body of the message, which will charge the sender Dh10 as a donation.
The number will receive donations until 10pm on August 6. The amount raised to date will be revealed on the Sama Dubai channel on August 5 during the fourth national bonds draw.
