Deadly bomb blast hits northern Lebanon city of Tripoli
Two people were killed and 17 others wounded after a bomb blast hit an apartment block in Tripoli on Saturday, security sources said.
Tripoli: Two people were killed and 17 others wounded after a bomb blast hit an apartment block in Tripoli on Saturday, security sources said.
The blast struck the building in the Bab Tibbaneh area, and rescue workers picked through debris to reach the wounded.
The site of the blast is close to the frontline of clashes on Sunday between government supporters and Alawite followers of the opposition and which killed nine people.
