Abbas says hopes Lebanon rocket incident isolated
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas said he hoped rockets fired from Lebanon to strike northern Israel on Thursday was an isolated incident and would not exacerbate the current conflict.
Madrid: Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas said he hoped rockets fired from Lebanon to strike northern Israel on Thursday was an isolated incident and would not exacerbate the current conflict.
"I hope it was an isolated incident, that will not make things worse," he said at a press conference following a meeting with Spain's Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero.
