US captures 6 in raids against Al Qaida
The US military says it has captured six people during raids against Al Qaida in Iraq networks around Baghdad and Mosul.
Baghdad: The US military says it has captured six people during raids against Al Qaida in Iraq networks around Baghdad and Mosul.
A US statement says the men were detained on Wednesday in two raids near Tarmiyah, which is about 50 kilometres north of Baghdad.
The others were picked up on Thursday in raids in Baghdad, Ramadi and Mosul.
