US air strike kills Iraqi civilians, say police

Tikrit: A US airstrike killed eight civilians near Tikrit on Friday, police said.

Three women were among those killed in the air raid in Al Dawr village.

Police said the eight killed were members of the same family.

Witnesses said the attack came after US troops surrounded the compound.
