Suicide bomber kills provincial police chief in Iraq
The senior police chief of Mosul, a city just north of Iraq, has been killed in suicide bomb attack on Thursday during his visit to the scenes of the blast that took place a day earlier in, reported Iraqi police.

Rescuer workers continued to dig through the rubble of Wednesday's explosion in search of survivors when an attacker in police uniform blew up next to Mosuls' senior police chief Brigadier-General Salih Mohammad Hasan and his bodyguards, the army said.
The police chief was rushed from the scene but later died in hospital. Said Tawfiq.
One of Hasan's bodyguards was also killed and another five wounded.
Mosul officials earlier imposed an indefinite curfew after Wednesday's massive blast which killed 20 people and wounded 150 in Mosul. US military officials have blamed al Quaeda for Wednesdays blast.
