Suicide bomber kills 25 in West Baghdad
A suicide bomber detonated an explosive vest at a dinner feast in western Baghdad's Abu Ghraib district, killing 25 people, police said.
Baghdad: Iraqis buried their dead on Monday after a suicide bomber killed 25 people at a celebratory banquet in west Baghdad.
Male relatives, some still wearing robes stained with blood from carrying the dead, wailed prayers over the bodies laid out in shrouds at the mosque at dawn in Abu Ghraib, a Sunni Arab district on the far western outskirts of the capital.

The attack took place at the home of a local shaikh who was celebrating the release of his son from US detention centre Camp Bucca, police said.
Women and children were among the dead, along with some men believed to be members of US-backed neighbourhood patrols.
