Iraqi president Talabani recovering from heart operation
Iraqi President Jalal Talabani is recovering from a heart operation in the United States, his office announced.

Baghdad: Iraqi President Jalal Talabani is recovering from a heart operation in the United States, his office announced.
The 74-year-old president had been treated in a hospital in Rochester, Minnesota. He has been released from the hospital and would return to Iraq after he has recovered.
“Talabani was suffering from a narrowing of one of his heart's valves. The matter was dealt with by a surgical operation," Talabani's office said in a statement.
