All leave for Iraqi military officers has been cancelled in anticipation of a wave of violence following the sentencing of former Iraqi premier Saddam Hussain.
Defense Minister Abdul-Qader Al Obeidi issued the order cancelling all military leaves and ordering vacationing soldiers back to duty on Friday.
"All vacations will be cancelled and all those who are on vacation must return," Al Obeidi said.
Many in Iraq are expecting a bloody fire-storm of violence if the court sentences the ex-president to death.

Police found the bodies of 83 torture victims throughout Baghdad between 6am Thursday and 6pm Friday.
All 83 showed signs of torture and were dressed in civilian clothes and had been bound at the wrists and ankles.
