At least 38 killed in Baghdad blasts
Baghdad: At least 38 people were killed and 68 others wounded in two bomb explosions in Baghdad on Tuesday, police said.
At least 23 people were killed and 68 others wounded in a bomb explosion in a parked bus in central Baghdad, police said.
A second car bombing in the western part of the capital killed 15 others.
The central Baghdad blast was near a major intersection in Tayaran Square, a busy commercial area usually filled with markets.
Many day labourers, mostly poor Shiites, also often wait in the area for work.
