British Foreign Secretary David Miliband held talks with Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri Al Maliki in Baghdad on Thursday, the British embassy said.
Baghdad: British Foreign Secretary David Miliband held talks with Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri Al Maliki in Baghdad on Thursday, the British embassy said.
A spokeswoman gave no details about the discussions. Miliband's visit had not been announced.
He had attended a meeting of Iraq's neighbours and Western powers in Kuwait on Tuesday. Maliki called for more regional engagement with Iraq at the meeting.
