The US military says three American soldiers and an interpreter have been killed in a bombing in northern Iraq.
Baghdad: The US military says three American soldiers and an interpreter have been killed in a bombing in northern Iraq.
A command statement says the deaths occurred about 10:45pm on Tuesday in Nineveh province.
The area sees much activity from Sunni insurgents and includes the city of Mosul, where operations against Al Qaida have been going on for weeks.
It brings the US military death toll to 25 so far in June, according to the independent Web site iCasualties.org, which tracks US military casualties.
No further details have been released.
