Baghdad: Iraqi police and hospital officials say at least 13 people have been killed in a car bombing near the northeast Baghdad home of an Iraqi police general.
The general was not injured. But at least 13 others died, including a child. More than 50 people were wounded, officials said.
It was the largest death toll from a car bomb in Baghdad since mid-April.
Police and hospital officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorised to talk to media.
