Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad dismissed the possibility of an Israeli attack against Iran, saying Israel was in a weak position, state media reported on Thursday.
Tehran: Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad dismissed the possibility of an Israeli attack against Iran, saying Israel was in a weak position, state media reported on Thursday.
Press TV quoted Ahmadinejad as saying: "Israel is in a weak position to launch attacks against any other country."
The comments came amid persistent speculation about a possible US or Israeli strike on Iran's nuclear facilities.
Press TV reported that Ahmadinejad said Iran will defend its territorial integrity if attacked.
