Egypt detains 14 Muslim Brotherhood members
At least 14 members of the Muslim Brotherhood were detained by Egyptian police in the Nile Delta province of Menufia on Sunday, Brotherhood and security officials said.
Cairo: At least 14 members of the Muslim Brotherhood were detained by Egyptian police in the Nile Delta province of Menufia on Sunday, Brotherhood and security officials said.
The men while were detained as they held a meeting at a mosque soon after dawn, a security official said.
The group claimed the police raided the homes of the members after dawn.
A security official said the men were held on suspicion of belonging to an illegal organisation and having organisational literature.
