Dubai: Kit Kat Arabia launches the Kit Kat Comedy Break competition in search of the best Arab comedian.
With $40,000 (Dh147,000) up for grabs in the Kit Kat Comedy Break competition, all entrants have to do is upload a short film of their comedy routine on www.kitkatcomedybreak.com by April 6, 2013. Submissions will be evaluated by Kit Kat’s judging panel, a group of the Arab World’s best comedians Tony Abou Jaoude, Ali Al Sayed, Shaima Al Sayed and Fahad Al Butairi. The first prize is $15,000 plus the opportunity to be the opening act for one of the judges on their next tour. The second prize is no laughing matter either with $10,000 up for grabs and third prize is $5,000. Along with the top three winners, the public will get to cast votes for their favourite comedian who will win $2,500 and other exciting prizes for online fans.
