Bus, truck collision kills many in Egypt
A bus collided head-on with a truck on a highway south of Cairo, killing at least 13 Egyptians on Sunday, and injuring 21 others, security and medical sources said.
Cairo: A bus collided head-on with a truck on a highway south of Cairo, killing at least 13 Egyptians on Sunday, and injuring 21 others, security and medical sources said.
The intercity bus was trying to overtake another vehicle when it hit the truck which was heading in the other direction, security sources said.
The bus had been taking Egyptians from Giza, near Cairo, to Beni Suef following the Eid Al Fitr holiday.
