Somalia: The Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation, KF, has distributed more than 350 food baskets to students of the Shaikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan School for Orphans in Burao, Somalia.
The move comes in line with the directives of President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
An official source at KF said that the food baskets include sugar, flour, rice and cooking oil. Taher Adam Bahanan, the School Principal, extended thanks and appreciation to the UAE’s wise leadership for its continuous directives to support the Somali people.
Confirming that sons of the late Shaikh Zayed have always provided assistance to the needy people across the world, he recalled the late Shaikh Zayed’s charitable history and humanitarian approach which had reached everywhere.
