Abu Dhabi: Eleven projects have been completed this year, ranging from web-based episodes, advertisements and music videos; it was revealed by twofour54 ibtikar: creative lab.

"Of these 11 projects, four were completed in the last two months through the efforts of 50 people, among them 15 Emiratis. It's amazing what has been achieved so far, considering that of the 70 people from around the region who have approached us with ideas for projects, most do not have a background in this industry," said Mohammad Abdulhak, content development executive for twofour54 ibtikar.

The two music videos that twofour54 ibtikar: creative lab helped to develop were Amana Ya Emarati, a music video about the UAE, written by UAE national Huda Amin Al Zarooni, a graduate of Ajman University of Science and Technology, and a rap music video entitled Ana Emarati by Khalifa Al Rumaithi, a Media student at Abu Dhabi's Men's College.

"I was amazed by my experience with everyone at twofour54 ibtikar: creative lab, especially Mohammad [Abdulhak]. When I first approached them with my idea for the music video, I never expected it to reach the level it has… from day one, they didn't let me down," Al Rumaithi said.

Next year, twofour54 ibtikar: creative lab is launching its portal, www.creativelab.ae, that is aimed at providing personal and professional support to its members and to share training experiences.
