Reality show with political twist to be launched in region
A Canadian television show in which students compete to be elected the country's next prime minister is about to be launched in the region with an Arab flavour.
Dubai: A Canadian television show in which students compete to be elected the country's next prime minister is about to be launched in the region with an Arab flavour.
Abu Dhabi based Pyramedia has acquired the rights to adapt the show in the Arab world, renaming it The Next Great Leader.
The Canadian version, Canada's Next Great Prime Minister, features a jury made up of high profile political personalities and former prime ministers, including Paul Martin, who was Prime Minister between 2003 and 2006.
The show is currently broadcast by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation.
The Next Great Leader will focus on four Arab youth between the ages of 18 and 25.
